“I have a nefarious plan!”
Dragon Father looked at his daughter and almost choked. “You have a what, now?”
Dragon Little stood in front of him, reaching as high as his bellybutton at four and a half years old, and said happily: “I have a nefarious plan!”
She had waited and waited until he appeared on the deck of Bonny’s Revenge.
“Uh… What’s happening?”
“Come come,” she took his hand and began to lead him. “My master plan is coming together!”
“Are you serious?”
She led him to the stairs leading down to the Infinite Prison at the bottom of Bonny’s Revenge.
“How do you know the word ‘nefarious’?”
“Sit here on the stairs.”
I heard him sit, as they were both now out of my eyesight.
“I think so.”
“One… two… three… And!”
Suddenly a chorus of supervillains started chanting very fast along with Dragon Little, “She sells seashells by the seashore. She sells seashells by the seashore. She sells by the seashore!”
“Yai everybody! We did it three times fast! What do you think, Dad?”
“I… uh… Wow.”
“That’s… amazing, Joy! Thanks, uh, everybody. That was… awesome. Yeah.”
Supervillains grumbled and muttered their thanks.
“Yeah. I… gotta get some air…”
Dragon Father came out slowly, leaned his back against the wall to Dragon Little’s cabin and breathed.
Dragon Little emerged jumping up and down. “We did it! It was amazing! We did it! She sells seashells on the seashore!”
“Yeah. That was amazing, Joy. You did something amazing.”
She kept jumping up and down.
Dragon Father was deep in thought, and then muttered to himself. “We gotta get you better influences, Joy.”
