#349: The Strange Adventure, Part 2

Dragon Father and Dragon Little arrived at the largest bank in the galaxy on a faraway planet.

“The King of the Galaxy is inside,” said Dragon Father told his daughter.

She nodded and took a step forward.

When he didn’t follow her, she looked back at him.

“Come on,” she grabbed his hand and began walking again.

He didn’t budge.

“I don’t think we should take this one,” he said.

I have never seen him this nervous before an adventure. At the time I couldn’t understand why. This was his dream, after all, his desires. Whatever he wants ist the thing that happens. At least the way I understand it. But I am not a dreamer.

“What’s the matter?” Dragon Little asked.

“The King of the Galaxy…” Dragon Father said. “He always makes me nervous.”

“Why?”

“I don’t know.”

“Okay.” Dragon Little jumped up and down. “Let’s go! This is boring!”

“All right, all right,” Dragon Father held her hand and walked in.

“Ah, Justin Shelley, Pirate Extraordinaire,” the King of the Galaxy greeted them. “And Joy Shelley, the fiercest young pirate in the galaxy.”

“Hello King,” Dragon Father began to bow. I could see them from my faraway hiding place through the bank’s big windows.

Suddenly, the doors closed in all directions at the same time.

Dragon Father and Dragon Little looked around.

“Arm yourself,” Dragon Father ordered Dragon Little.

They both pulled out a sword in one hand and a laser pistol in another.

“You have fallen into my trap,” an evil-sounding whisper echoed through the bank’s chambers. “I’ve been waiting for you a long time, Justin Shelley.”

“Who is this? Who are you!” Justin raised his voice.

“Don’t you recognize my voice? Don’t you know my anger? I have waited for you since before you had this child. I have been waiting for you since you lost the use of your legs.”

Suddenly, Dragon Father fell to his knees as if his legs did not work.

“Dad!”

As I have told you yesterday, this was one of the strangest dreams Dragon Father had. It ist just the beginning and I must gather my strength to tell you of the things that happened next. I will continue to tell you of this strange dream tomorrow.
