I had just rescued Dragon Little from being captured by Captain Badass without her knowing it was me .
Dragon Father had disappeared not long ago after a full day of adventure, which meant that he would only return to his dream in sixteen or seventeen hours. If I were Dragon Little, now back aboard Bonny’s Revenge, outnumbered and without my father, I would run and hide using my faster ship.
But that ist not what Dragon Little did.
Dragon Little turned Bonny’s Revenge around and sped up, flying straight towards Captain Badass’ ship.
“You’re all going to jaillll!” she shouted at them.
Captain Badass’ mouth dropped open. She did not seem like she was going to board the ship - she was speeding up in order to ram the ship.
Captain Badass shouted “Full speed! Run! Now! Full speed!”
His ship moved out of the way just in time, as Dragon Little sped past them.
I stood up in my hiding place, ready to help if needed. Captain Badass could be too much for her, feisty and experienced as she was. She was still only a child.
Dragon Little turned the ship around and now it was Captain Badass’ ship and crew that employed the tactic of running and hiding.
After a few close calls, they went into the rings of Saturn and were out of her sight.
She dove in right after them… but couldn’t find them.
She searched the rings a few times, and could not find them.
She searched around the planet, but could not find them.
After an hour, she gave up, and I gave a sigh of relief.
She returned to Earth’s ocean, where she went into her cabin, lay down on her cot, and went to sleep. She would only wake up when her father returned.
